A transformation
is underway - with some paint

This year, our artists association and the Yuma Fair Grounds have forged something of a new relationship. We are holding more of our activities on the grounds and they are very happy to have us. In line with this relationship came a plan to paint a mural on the building that we use there. It has been a very bland, non-descript building with no real personality. After this weekend, that all changes! 

Tania Bolin is a gifted artist making her living here professionally. She is one of our young members and she designed this mural.  Another local artist familiar with the mural process laid the ground work on Friday. Volunteers from our association have signed up for work on it over the weekend. This mural is a stunning contribution to the community. 

I'm in for the day relaxing in my recliner.
