Eden Park

Tuesday
A great day today. The sun was back, but it was quite cool, with a sharp wind. We went downtown for our usual Music Live at Lunch. It was a fascinating program today, medieval and Renaissance music played on copies of authentic medieval instuments. The ensemble go by the name of Moyen Âge (Middle Age in French), and have been performing medieval music together since 2017. One of their members is a world-class plucked string builder, and they are all Conservatory graduates with many years experience in early music. At the end, they invited people up to have a closer look at their instruments, which include the hurry gurdy, viola da gamba, a variety of Renaissance recorders, built by a recorder maker from England, recently moved to Dayton Ohio, lute, Baroque guitar, Renaissance flute, Vibuela. I’ve added a collage in extras of some of the instruments. From there, we went to Krohn Conservatory to enjoy their Spring display, and Eden Park, to enjoy all the blossom trees, as shown in my main collage - such a picture!
