Life is a Challenge!

IT'S BEEN A BRIGHT, BRIGHT SUNSHINY DAY!

Most of you will know that we are friends with Blipper Amanda_T and our friendship has blossomed over the years we have known her.  We became even closer after her Mum - also a Blipper - died - and then even more so after her husband, another Blipper, known as Mr. T. died - and both Mr. HCB and I are truly grateful for her friendship.

Last night, as it’s not long before we go on holiday, I suggested to Mr. HCB that we popped down the motorway to visit Amanda, so we did - I love unexpected Blipmeets!

I sang in the Worship Group this morning at Church, the first time for a while and then after a great service which included commissioning our new Deacons and welcoming new members, we stayed for coffee and chat and then set off to visit Amanda.

We had a great time - well it was certainly memorable - and you can see how much we enjoyed one another’s company.  Of course, we had to have the obligatory “silly shot” - I will leave you to guess which one it is!

Suffice to say that when Amanda turned on the fountain in her pond and it sprayed all over me, that was nearly the end of a beautiful friendship, but I am determined not to let a few drops of water spoil that especially as we all get on so well together.

Just before we left, Amanda’s next door neighbour, Jo, arrived back from a walk with Beau - the dog that is sort of shared between them, so it was good to see him - and of course to meet Jo again.

We had a good run back - although there were quite a lot of maniac drivers on the road - but we guessed many of them had been away for the weekend and were rushing to get home.

Hope you all have a great week - it has been a beautiful weekend but there was still a chilly breeze.  I don’t think Amanda’s little plants or Mr. HCB’s will be able to stay out overnight for a while longer - they will both be watching the weather!
