Four!?

This fellow seems to have more than the usual share of wings.

Chipmonkey and I went for a walk at lunchtime and puzzled the passers-by by stalking largely invisible insects in the long grass. We probably looked a right pair, me with the SLR and half a metre of camera, him with his phone today.

No idea what this is. It's about a cm long. Any suggestions?

We also stalked an intriguing black-and-white butterfly, about the size of a cabbage white but far prettier. However, it never settled; at all, let alone in range.
