Peacock Butterfly
Another day, another limited opportunity for blip. in fairness I had all day, because Janet went off to the Malvern Show, but somehow the day went by anyway, lol.
So here's a peacock butterfly I photographed this morning on the UKBMS butterfly survey at Charfield Meadow. One peacock, three orange tips, a holly blue, two green veined whites and four speckled woods.
This evening was the annual parish meeting. In a village of two thousand plus adult electors we had eight people turn up... It's not unusual, but the annual parish meeting is a legal requirement, so we hold it.
Discussions included why don't more people engage with the community outside their front door...
