New Generation

On the 5th May, I posted an image of orange-tip butterfly eggs.
I re-visited the same garlic mustard plants and found this caterpillar on a developing seedpod.  I have no way of knowing if it is from one of those precise eggs or a later addition.  There were two of them on the same plant.

As long as it can avoid predators, there should be more orange-tips to see at this location next spring.
