We had a belated start for home today. We had dinner with my brother last night in his favourite restaurant in Langley, then lunched with him in pub before heading for home.
I took my first shot near the Yale Tunnel looking back at the steep canyon walls. I managed a quick shot of a tunnel opening, then more views of the Canyon. Snow can be seen on the tops of the mountains. We were held up for construction with one lane only available at a time.
I always try to get a shot of Murray Creek Falls near Spences Bridge. I'm always amazed how it always has a flow, even in the driest weather.
My last big shot was taken from the Kamloops Lake Lookout. I found a couple enjoying the view with Kamloops at the far east end. My daughter took over the drive for the last lap. I was very grateful. It was far too long a day for me.
I'm happy to be home and will enjoy my own bed tonight. Tomorrow, I hope to be back to 'normal'.
