Sunshine and showers

A miserable wet morning turned into a sunny warm afternoon so we headed off for our favourite walk - up to the top of the golf course for great views over to Edinburgh and Fife, and down onto the beach.

The kids did the usual of promising to stay dry, then getting a bit wet and agreeing to strip off. Lots of fun jumping over the waves, making sand castles with no tools and chasing seagulls. In Fife it didn't look like such a sunny time was being had - if that grey sheeting rain in the background is anything to go by.

Home for a lovely curry and a lazy evening in front of the telly.
