Marjorie's ramblings

Hexham Abbey interior

I started the day by mounting my 2 photos for homework, then off to the class bright and early. Today we were looking at image interpretations we had all done. A few weeks ago we were given 2 of our own images and 2 from other class members. We had to process them as we wished to. It's always fascinating to see the ingenuity people use.

Then to Hexham to briefly see Mum with friends Pearl and Liz. Pearl travelled by bus all the way from Great Ayton to see the embroidery exhibitions. I had a quick peak at the Abbey ones because the exhibition will finish soon. This image was taken with the little J1 camera, just looking upwards in the north transept.

This evening I took Mum to see Wet House, a new play by Paddy Campbell, on at the Live Theatre in Newcastle. It's about a group of homeless people in a hostel where they are allowed to drink. The care workers have their own problems. Searing stuff and brilliant acting. Try to see if before it finishes.

Arth thinks he has not had a mention for a long time. Until yesterday he was doing brilliantly, but yesterday's yomp on the moors with a lot of downhill upset him. Anti-inflammatories are the order of the day..........sigh.
