From Erceg's Way

Woke early enough to head down to the Snells Beach foreshore in time for the sunrise. The path which runs almost the full length of the beach, just back from the sand, is known as Erceg's Way. At frequent intervals there are seats for walkers to rest, and they are often used in the mornings by those waiting to see the sunrise. Not this morning.

There were four or five dog walkers, a couple of other walkers, and three runners; one (a young man) was hurtling along at a great turn of speed.

This was taken as I was heading back to the beach house. Especially when looked at in large, some herons can be seen in one of the pools of water recently left behind by the ebbing tide.

Not a sunday, but one of the better sunrises this year.
