Peaceful evening in Andalucia

Getting up just after 3 am is not everyone's dream but we were spoilt as T drove us to Exeter Airport to catch the 7 am flight to Malaga where our friends A and G met us in bright sunshine. After a journey of about 1 hour 20 minutes we were up in the Sierra Tejada near the pueblo blanco of Alcuacin. Here we drove for a couple of miles even further along a steep and winding rough track to their little house. There is a vast panorama of mountain ranges and a blue lake in front with the sheltering mountain tops behind. Every evening the goat herd and his two dogs bring down the goats to the small finca below, their bells ringing out in the quiet of the evening.

This is a series of backblips now!
It is quite unusual to see oleanders growing at this altitude but A and G tend their garden with ardour when they are out here.
