The Path

I should probably get some weedkiller for the path. But it looks so pretty!
Miss L surpassed herself this morning at school. We got halfway down the corridor after dropping Miss E off at the stairs and Miss L said she wanted to go to her classroom by herself.
Out of the big door, across the playground, through the gate and into her classroom. By herself!
So off she marched. I followed at a distance and then hid in the doorway to make sure she got safely in.
Apparently she opened the door and fell into the classroom in a heap with all her bags. Very funny!
After stopping into the dining hall for tea and biscuits I went to the bank, the charity shops and Waitrose before heading home for some quality sofa time alternated with tidying out the baking/ingredient/spice/herb cupboard, Miss E's bedroom and cleaning out Miss E's pet caterpillars.
On the way back to school I went to the dump with a load of cardboard and plastic.
A productive day!
We had a Meet the Teachers tea at school which was good. They both seem to be settling in well. Miss L's teacher tactfully remarked that she was more of a handful than Miss E but that she knew how to handle her. Good luck!
