Toddler in tow

As I was heading across the canal after a swim I eyed up this pair of swans that have taken to boldly sunning themselves beside the towpath at the Netherton footbridge. At the same time along came a Dad with his daughter in tow in a tiny attached bike. In the sharp morning light I thought this scene with the bike shadows captured this wonderful late summer sunshine that we have been enjoying now for days on end.
