Quite Rough

11.3C with light rain more or less all day. Dull. Dark. Moderate breeze.

The rain appeared to ease just before 3pm so Maeve the Deerhound and I walked down the road and went across the road bridge over the railway to the beach at Westhaven. The sea has been crashing in over the rocks all day. The sea looked quite rough with lots of waves running in past the channel marker posts. I was glad to see all the boats are out of the water and tucked away up by the fishermen's huts.

Maeve and I walked along the shore and the path (which used to be a very nice little boardwalk through some dunes) to Carnoustie and turned up by the railway station and made our way home. There was some rain but we didn't really get wet. By the time we got home it was almost dark.
