On Landscape

I am at the Rheged Centre for the On Landscape conference. I've enjoyed the first day. The organisers have set a good pace, so we have proper time between talks to chat and have coffee. The speakers have been interesting and I went to sleep only once!

Here is the foyer with some of the landscape prints on show. Those of you who have been on Doug Chinnery's London overnight workshops will recognise Terry who drives his black cab to transport the participants around the city.

This is a somewhat (largely) male dominated event with no female speakers, but it's been friendlier than I might have anticipated. The dinner tonight was great fun.
