At Mary Ann's house

It's been a glorious day today. Mum and I went to see Mary Ann Roger's Christmas exhibition. She is a very successful artist who lives out in the sticks, near West Woodburn. Her studio and house are full of her paintings. In addition to cards and calendars, she had a lot of extra merchandise this year.

It's always a happy event with mulled wine and mince pies to enjoy.

This photo is taken from her lounge. We sat down for a short rest and I loved the view coming through the window. I think the ceramic bird has been made by another local artist, Sue Dunne.
