Speech #3

Worked at home today, with a side trip to the doc. Chest is clear, just a cold and a cough. And in the afternoon A, the plumber returned. We still haven't reached the bottom of the CH problem. Worcester Bosch now think it may be a 'circulation problem', dirt in the pipes. Could well be but that will have to wait until 2015. in the meantime the hot water and heating will be on permanent. The gas bill may be huge, but at least we will be warm and have capacity for plenty showers.

It rained this afternoon but it is still freezing. I was off at 4 to the opening of our Members' Art Exhibition. It is on at 'The Gallery on the Corner' and will continue into January. Gallery on the Corner is a social enterprise run by the Autism Ventures Trust and they offer traineeships and work experience to people on the autistic spectrum. Our catering tonight was done by another social enterprise Social Bite which employs people who have been homeless. A lot of synergies there.

And I made my third speech of the week to end the busiest week of the year. Tomorrow the cleaning starts!
