Bumblebee on sedum

The sedum plants are coming into flower. I love all those tiny delicate flowers that make up the inflorescence. Most of the ones in this garden are Autumn Joy, but I have a few other varieties, including Rhubarb and Custard (great name but the flowers are a bit insipid).

The bees are still very busy foraging at the end of their season. We have had a few beautiful day of the September Indian summer. I like these days better than the hotter days of July and August. They feel like a bonus.
