Hi, my name is Bev, my username Bom was my nickname as a kid.  I joined Blipfoto in April 2015, having looked at my friend's blips for nearly a year and finally deciding to take the plunge!  I loved photography when I was younger, but fell into the habit of simply taking 'snaps' with a digital camera when life got busy.  I'm now retired and am enjoying picking up my old hobby and learning a new skill.  I've been amazed by the quality of the 'blips' I see and the support from the community - long may it continue!

Update: I moved house in 2016 to live near my best friend in North Norfolk. Such a pretty area and lots of photo opportunities including coastal landscapes which I hope to get much better at!
