Sunset

Despite myself, I finding the RWC hype rather contagious. I've been wearing my black top (with red one - I'm still English after all!) over it.

Truth be known, I'm not that fussed about the games. I won't go out of my way to watch any of them; I find all that rather dull. However, I am enjoying the fact that people have been friendly and jolly all day.

I really loved the peaceful walk that I took with JL and the pooches this evening; the beautiful sunset and JL's excellent company.

I also relished in the drive home on the eerily deserted roads.

Now I'm back at home, drinking a glass of Brown Brother's Dolcetto & Syrah. Really nice and a little too easy to drink.

Off to watch the Opening Ceremony now.
