An ordinary life....

Gesundheit!

Unexpectedly sneezing whilst pressing the shutter button isn't always conducive to good photography, but the result appealed to me enough to blip it.

I have been the lucky recipient of two lots of flowers this week; these tulips from Rachel on Thursday and a lovely mixed bouquet from Marion yesterday as a thank you for taking the photos of her grandson Lucas.  Early warning of lots of flower blips over the next week!!!  :)

Busy house this morning and into early afternoon as Lynsey the physio was here (fab at her job, easy on the eye and a bundle of fun.  Alan likes her! :D) to provide further manual handling training to Alan's support workers on his sit-to-stand-chair.   This time his two new support workers, Cameron and Jo, joined us along with Marion, Gill and Ed.  Anna is still on her honeymoon so she can catch up when she gets back.

Alan was a star and once in the chair and in the standing position, didn't want to come out of it!  That makes me very happy as to get full benefit from the chair, he really needs to be in a standing position twice a day.  Much easier to achieve if he actually enjoys it.

Feedback from Lynsey afterwards was very positive and as we all sat round the dining room table, I looked at Alan's team and once again marvelled at how lucky we are to have found such amazing people.

Update on yesterday's blip - Clem had nothing to worry about.  I had a fabulous meal but didn't go overboard and didn't have any alcohol.   Calories are too precious to waste on booze!
