Crufts Day 2

Another good day at Crufts.

Today I left Hero and Beat in the car and only Biscuit came with me into the busy show environment. I wanted Hero to have a restful and quiet day, so he can feel mentally ready for his big day tomorrow.

I spent the morning watching the Border Collie ring and all the beautiful collies. Hero's breeder was there and got a 2nd and a 3rd on their dogs. Not bad at Crufts!

I also had a blipmeeting as Orchid99 came to say hallo. We have met before, but it was good to see her again. She is a dog lover too  and an expert when it come to the huge Mastiffs. We met her by the Mastiff ring and Biscuit was well impressed by those big boys! He did not really want to come too close to them.

This picture is from the British Heelwork To Music final. It is Pamela Sullivan performing with her lovely Golden Retriever. Winner was Lucy Creek, who also won the Freestyle yesterday. WOW - what a year for her!

I left early again today - both because I still get tired very quickly, but also because I wanted to give Hero a good day.

We did a training session outside the Travelodge. Cars zooooooming by just a few meters from our training field! Gosh, life on the roads does offer some interesting experiences. But Hero did well. It must be about a week since he last saw his props, so we went through all of his moves and it was good.

Beat also got to work a bit. Biscuit has been spoilt rotten all day, so he did't get to train today.

Night night Blippers.
Keep your fingers crossed for us tomorrow.
