I've been on the slowest walk in the country today, well it seemed like it at times anyway, but that's what happens when you join a group you think you know on a day you haven't walked with them before.  But on the plus side I enjoyed some interesting conversations and it only rained for five minutes!

After a discussion at the weekend about club apathy I've sent an email round telling all what time I'll be in the pub, because what usually happens is that people get there at about 9pm and then I have to leave at 9.30 to get home and go to bed for my early start.  I thought a fun-worded email might encourage more to get there a bit earlier, but we'll see later.
