Muddy Boots

These muddy boots are Miss L's. They are attached to her muddy legs and her muddy coat!! Miss L likes to get as muddy as possible at every given opportunity!
We took Archie out for a walk earlier and while he ran around like a loon in the woods the Little Misses climbed trees, built dens and generally scrabbled about in mud!
They had whined and cried and complained about going out - wanting to stay in and play Minecraft. But I'm a mean Mummy and I told them to stop bloody whinging and get their boots on. Naturally they loved it! Miss E did have the grace to look sheepish when I pointed out that there had been no need to get quite so hysterical at the thought of leaving the house!
After our walk it was a bit of a rush to get a quick lunch and then get Miss E into her PE kit and then to school for her netball match.
I dropped her off forty five minutes before the match as requested, came home for a quick cup of tea and then headed back to school with Mr K and Miss L.
The netball was fantastic. Miss E was Wing Defence in the first match and did brilliantly. She was so enthusiastic and involved, running around marking everyone on the entire pitch! It was freezing but she didn't notice the cold at all. A far cry from the catatonic girl she became at the horrible hockey match at her old school. They got beaten 4-1 in the first match but that didn't dull Miss E's enthusiasm. She didn't flip out when she threw the ball the wrong way after half time, she didn't sulk when she didn't make a catch, soldiered on when she got bashed.
I was so proud of her!!!!!!
She was Goal Defence in the first half of the next match and Goal Attack for the second half. They won that one 2-0. Whoop whoop!!!!
We warmed up afterwards with tea and biscuits in the hall while the girls had their match tea.
What a lovely afternoon. Miss E is happy and that makes me happy!
