Getting Reddy

What a grey, drizzly damp day! But you know, there's still colour in the garden. The rain drops fall from glistening pyrocanthus berries behind the pond.

Having persuaded (with menaces) the builders on the main road to at least make an effort to clean the road up for tomorrow's Remembrance procession to the War Memorial the rain this afternoon is clearing the last of the mud away.

Tomorrow morning I'll be up bright and early to go set up the PA system for the Remembrance before getting my posh rags on for the event itself. I think I'll be keeping close by the local MP, who has decided to turn up.

A Tory, who is outwardly and vocally opposed to the developments proposed by Tory Councillors in a Tory regional authority under a Tory government. He lives life on the edge. In proper Royston Vasey style "we'll have no trouble here!"
