The beads

We had a really nice lie in. No alarm just relying on Mother Nature to wake us. Which she did at about 8.30. I made the tea and wandered around the garden in my pjs checking on the changes since last weekend. My Wendy’s gold snowdrops are blooming. They are beautiful. I fed the hens then took the tea back to bed. We took our time with everything. Enjoyed breakfast in the conservatory. I’d bought croissants in Lidl. I warmed them and took two up to Henry so he had breakfast in bed. Then Jon and I had a long walk with the dog round the village.

Off to Cromer and we began with a coffee stop at ‘Henry’s’ at the far end of the town. It was nice but busy. It began to drizzle as we checked out the shops. Left on my own I bought a nice cardigan and a ‘one size fits all’ chunky cable knit poncho in M & Co sale. I had £25 for my birthday and decided these were a good and desirable buy. Especially the poncho just £12 down from £35.

We bought the sink in Homebase that we couldn’t get last weekend. So we have a few bits. Next month we can buy the wood to start the framework and in the meantime, hopefully see the planning people to check it is all ok to do.

Home for lunch and now the boys have gone to the archery shop in Norwich. I’ve done some cleaning upstairs and now I’m trying to sort my beads....I started last night, but it’s going to take a while. I haven’t thrown any out yet....but I will.

Egg and bacon planned for tea and an evening in front of the tv!
