Snowdrops

Thanks for all your lovely messages, hearts and stars for my 1500th blip yesterday - all hugely appreciated.  I still can't believe that I have kept this going for so long, as I thought I would run out of steam after a few months. The wonderful community spirit has kept me going.

BB had to get up early to finish his homework this morning – it was all prepared, it just all needed to be glued into his homework jotter.  There were lots of bits, so it took a while.  TT was there to help, as he had another dental appointment this morning.  Once BB was off to school, I headed out to meet a friend.  Our choice of café was usurped by her almost four year old, who wanted to go to softplay, so we went to the softplay café instead.  We had a lovely catch up while Miss J played.  We had very nice scones, but I was pleased when we left as I was freezing.  I guess when you are running around in softplay you won’t feel the cold – unlike us adults who were just sitting watching.

It was home via the supermarket for me to pick up some stuff for lunch.  It was a really beautiful day, and it’s a pity I didn’t manage to get out for a run.  However mid-afternoon I dragged BB out for a river walk/scoot.  It was still lovely, but freezing.

TT was out with friends this evening, BB had scouts and then I dropped him at a friend’s house for a sleepover, and I came home to enjoy the peace and watch three episodes of Line of Duty, as a colleague has leant me series two.

This clump of snowdrops was looking lovely in the afternoon sunshine. Spring must be round the corner.
