Turmeric Latte

My sister and brother in law travelled over to Mum and Dad’s yesterday, arriving late afternoon. It was great to see them.

We met up with them for breakfast this morning, at Cinnabar on the High Street. Breakfast meet ups and treats are popular - the place filled up quickly. S has lost a lot of weight since September. She reported that the turmeric latte - which to my untutored eye resembled pea soup - was good.

More shopping for Mum and Dad in the morning, then at 1pm we headed north for the 180 mile journey home.

This evening, BBC Sports Personality of the Year, always good viewing. A lot of Christmas Card writing ( way to go, but it’s a start). And now as I sort my blip, the latter part of “Christmas around Europe” on Radio 3 (1pm to midnight, we tuned in as we drove north). We tuned in again to a live concert from Lisbon at 9pm and are now in Graz, Austria. 27 nations cooperating, 32 broadcasters broadcasting. European cooperation is still possible - and some great music is heard as a result.

We’ll be fast asleep hopefully by the time they get to the Garrison Church in Copenhagen.
