Baht ‘at!

No hats needed on Ilkley Moor today even though it was quite windy. It was wonderfuly warm and amazingly busy.
Stopped to take this panorama shot and we couldn’t park but as you can see there’s not a cloud in the sky. Think everyone was making the most of what we believe will be the last day of ‘summer’ weather with the official start of Autumn coming on Monday (Autumn equinox) and an autumnal forecast.
The famous Cow and Calf Rocks were awash with folks and there were families picnicking. It just goes to show how much we crave and appreciate the sun.The road along the moor was lined with parked cars and the usual sheep!
Ilkley itself was quite quiet.
This morning we had our first Church Coffee Morning since before the summer and were surprised by the good attendance on such a lovely day and delighted that our new Vicar/Rector came along and stayed most of the morning. A very pleasant and chatty chap!
