Little Pooch

Mr B always called Cousteau 'Pooches'. Of course, we couldn't call Abe the same thing, so Mr B adapted it to Little Pooch. he's not that little anymore, but he still cops the nickname - as well as 'Fruit loop' and 'Fidget', among other things. It's a wonder he knows what his name is at all!

So, I was going to take him to obedience class on Saturday, but it's just got too hard. Little Miss' basketball game has been moved to an earlier time and the obedience session lasts for 2.5 hours. We just can't fit it in this month. The next 'new members' session will be on 9th November, so I think we'll wait until then to join. In the meantime, I'll just have to keep working with Abe.

Speaking of Abe, we just had a great, long walk up at the wetlands. He was so good and had a great time chasing swallows, magpies and rabbits, none of which he had a snowball's chance in hell of catching. It's just lovely when you can enjoy a walk with your dog and not worry about him running off, running over the wrong people or just being silly. Maybe he's growing up. He's exhausted now. A tired dog is a happy dog.

Little Miss has just texted me to let me know that her school team won their basketball game, so she's pretty happy.

Now on to important things. Tiny Tuesday results:

Little Miss and I pored over this week's entries and, although we loved a lot of them, we did narrow it down to five hearts and an honourable mention. Here goes:

Flying's Peep-o was just so pretty. We loved it.
dbifulco gave us an 'oh so detailed' bee shot on a daisy. What's not to love?
The light in frani's shot kept catching our eyes, so had to win a heart.
I loved the moodiness of PaiviPuu's autumn leaf.
We liked the composition of DonnaWanna's loved up shield bugs.

And an honourable mention went to Beewatcher for the seedpod skeletons.

Thank you to everyone who took part in TT this week. Remember:

TT229 Oct 15 - Creative
TT230 Oct 22 - Shadow
TT231 Oct 29 - Colour (again!)

I'm really enjoying hosting Tiny Tuesday. :)
