Tailor

Back to work, but in the knowledge that it is only a three day week. My dodgy knee was really unhappy today – the downside of my run yesterday. I had that Monday morning feeling however, as I had lots of emails to catch up on.  Always a drag.  I then spent some time contemplating the cost of coronavirus and then trying to track a colleague down to get some clarity on a report that has been submitted.  All to no avail.

I had to pop out to the optician at lunchtime to have a test re-done.  All was well this time.  I also ordered new lenses for my glasses.  I think they were expecting me to order new frames – but no such luck.

There was an amazing moon this evening – but no blip of it unfortunately.  Another ghost sign instead, grabbed in the lunchtime rain.  it's not easy to read, but a google search and the Scottish Post Office Directory from 1884-85, tells me that it is Beveridge & Gillies Tailors & Clothiers.
