Traprain Law Again

It was a school holiday today and I always take this Monday off, so this year was no different. My day was more productive than the past couple of days.  I baked rock buns, cooked a tagine, and prepared some biscuit dough – using a new recipe.  It says to chill it for thirty minutes or up to ten days.  It’s still in the fridge.

After lunch BB and I headed out for a walk.  I was worried about rain, as it was quite grey again.  We did have a couple of slight showers, but nothing to write home about thankfully.  BB hadn’t reckoned on such a long walk, but as we were almost home he noticed that his new phone said he had 22,000 steps – which perked him up no end.

At least tea was cooked and only needed to be heated up.  It went down well and there are not many rock buns left.  TT reminded me that they are best eaten fresh.

Later BB and I watched half of the Guernsey Literary and potato Peel Pie Society.

Traprain Law again.  There are two hares in the extra.
