The Handoff

A gloomy, dreary day isn't the best for wildlife photography, but I wasn't planning to head out anywhere, so I looked for a blip at home.  These White-breasted Nuthatches were there right when I needed them.  It seems that these little guys can do just about anything hanging at precarious angles from trees.

Now that today's to-do list has been completed, it's time to settle down with the computer and finalize the Tiny Tuesday favorites.  I've never been a decisive person, tending to consider and reconsider decisions, and the blip community makes TT's extra difficult.  There are so many wonderful images and everyone deserves recognition.  But with only five stars, those tough decisions have been made so here goes, in no particular order:

Dolyley22  for that "wow" red against the black, with an extra bonus of a reflection
BikerBear  for a perfectly captured yellow rose, and those "smiles for the day" (that really work:)
Hanulli  for the super detail in a ladybug larva, with a beautiful flower background
kengrace   for using the focus stacking technique with great success
SquirrelsEtc  for the super close-up detail that makes us feel like we can reach out and touch that little chipmunk

And honorable mentions to:
loisbiz
Stella2
fitzbilly
frani
NickyR

There we have it.  It has been a pleasure hosting the challenge this month. I hand off the honor to trisharooni ,who will be hosting in June.  A list of exciting optional themes for the month can be found here.
