Physically distanced grandson

On Monday, his daddy day, our younger son brought his girls to play in the garden. Today, on his daddy day, our elder son brought his wee boy, our grandson, for the same purpose. Here he is toddling into the borders. We've not seen them since early March, except on a screen, and it was just lovely to have them here. They had planned to visit this afternoon but the weather this morning was a good deal more helpful for outdoor activity. They're away now and the wind and rain are arriving. These visits, and being able to sit outside with family and friends, are the aspects of the looser restrictions which mean the most to me.

Two extras. The answer to yesterday's map question, if anyone is interested. No surprises there! And a second glorious fungus on the same tree as the moose antlers blipped recently. In fact this fungus would have been today's blip had L not been the star of the show. I might well let the fungus feature soon though.

Have a good weekend and stay well.
