AOG20202

Welcome to the second day of the AOG at the Rocky Mountain Arena.  The events started early this morning with Team Squirrel competing in the Peanut Burying event.  It's really quite exciting as they are allowed to "steal" from one another's hiding places so they have to be stealthy.  At the end, the peanuts were counted and medals were awarded.  For the first time in my recollection, the event went smoothly and there was no bickering among the athletes.  I have been closely following the dragonflies in training for the High Limb Crawl Relay event and one of my favorites took the Gold Medal today!  This is Brian from Team Blue-eyed Darner just before he reached the top of the long limb to clinch the Gold for his team.  Congratulations to all of them on a job well done!

As a member of the International Panel of Judges, I have awarded hearts and honorable mentions for Day One as follows:

Hearts:      Naturelover     for unsynchronized swimmers
maura143        for Brown Anole in warm-up suit
Honeycombebeach  for her snail race (and tribute to Admirer)

HMs:         dbifulco            for Tai Chi Pondhawk
                   dfb24               for Opening Ceremonies
Legacy             for Team Heron at the snack bar

There were lots of creative entries yesterday and I hope to see more from today!  Please join in!  If you need more info, click here.  Tomorrow's tag will be AOG20203.

I am grateful for the chance to be lighthearted in these troubled times. xx
