Nicky and her Nikon

The helpful gardener

It was such a bright and sunny day, but it was feeling quite autumnal on my morning walk. I wanted to go to Esher Common but there are road works on the route with a one way traffic light, and it is so horribly backed up that I decided to rather walk in our local woods from the house.

I tried sorting some of my photos into folders today, one of those ongoing jobs that I never do and then it takes too long when I need to find certain photos.

I needed to go out to get some things but I had to wait in for a signed delivery - it finally arrived at 4.45pm and by then I felt it was too late to go to the shops and so took Xena for another walk instead. I listen to my books on audio when I walk so I am getting through books quite quickly these days - I set myself a goal to read 50 books this year which is a bit over ambitious for me, but anyway I am on my 33rd book so far this year.

When I was out in the garden Xena thought she would help me dead heading some of the flowers! An un-helpful gardener who loves to poke her nose in amongst all the flowers.

Lats night I had another zoom photography talk booked, but as it was at 7.30pm and I was busy with making and serving supper at that time I forgot to watch it! All the zoom lectures or meetings always seem to be at such an inconvenient time for me.
