Snowdrops

I woke early, but ended up sleeping late!  I started my day with a walk, run, walk – much the same as last Sunday, but with a wee bit more running.  It was another really lovely sunny morning, so bright and with lots of birds fluttering around, but there was a cool breeze.  My knee survived – or at least seems to have survived.  Once back home I had to call into work very quickly to try and get something sorted out – the thing I forgot yesterday - and then I headed into town for some lunch supplies.  I had thought of going to a new café/takeaway, but there was a long queue and I don’t have that much patience.  I picked up a few bits and pieces from the supermarket instead.
After lunch I pottered, did some chores, had a short wander and noticed that people were queuing out the door at the local hospital vaccination centre.  I was on tea tonight so made burgers, salad and wedges.  The boys devoured it.  We went our separate ways for  Zoom calls with friends with TT having his regular Friday whisky call.   Later I watched another episode of The Crown, but was dozing by the end of it.
There are a couple of places we usually try to go every year to see the snowdrops.  Of course that isn’t possible this year, so I was pleased to come across lots this afternoon on my wander and very close to home too.
