Marjorie's ramblings

Butter wouldn't melt....

Today the Tynedale Photo Group finally managed to coincide for an outdoor event. We were going to picnic on the coast on two dates earlier in the year. Both were cancelled due to poor weather forecasts.

Today we were in Christine and Kevin's garden at Newbrough. Fifteen of us made it, which was good out of a possible total of 24. We sat on garden chairs in a large circle and ate our own packed lunch. This method worked very well. The lunch did not dominate the proceedings.

Gradually people moved chairs and moved around to chat. It was a very pleasant get together.

Christine's older dog lay sleeping peacefully. About 30 seconds after I photographed him, he was up and had his head in the remnants of Lesley C's lunch. Well it was only a foot from his nose. How could he be expected to resist temptation?!

We were reminded that it was time to make sure our printers are in order ready for the new season. We all have projects to complete. Unsurprisingly, we have not made much progress with them yet. Oh dear!!

It's such a lovely group to belong to. I expect we will get our camera and printer mojo back soon.
