Photobombed by a wasp!

Today's weather was round the other way! Sunshine and blue skies early and clouding over in the afternoon.

I took a ride with Mrs M to Dunollie just after lunch as I did last Tuesday and walked back along the 'Witches', the old carriage drive, down to the War Memorial. From there I walked along the beach as far as the old Church of Scotland when the rising tide forced back up to the prom.

I took 102 pictures, I discovered later! Many were of ferries and other boats, several of birds on the beach and others of a variety of things which caught my eye. Someone had left a Coke can on one of the sets of steps which lead down to the beach, so I fiddled around and finally decided to Blip it! Blurred in the background is the small unmanned North Kerrera Spit Lighthouse.

My extra today is of a row of turnstones - they let me get pretty close before they scampered off across the rocks!

By the time I arrived home after a two hour walk, including two long chats, (!) the sun had gone in and a pullover was needed to sit out on the deck with a cuppa!
