Marjorie's ramblings

Bronze oak leaf

This leaf came with a bunch of autumnal flowers. Gorgeous.

I've had a very quiet day after yesterday's walk.

Margret (next door) went for her Covid booster at Hexham Mart. The queues of the elderly and infirm lasted for over two hours. There were very few chairs for anyone to sit on, and they needed someone to keep their place in the queue if they left it to sit. It sounds as though things went very wrong. Margret stayed on to help some of her friends who were struggling in the queues.

There were only four people vaccinating and hardly anyone to help people as they waited. Oh dear!

Tonight I will stay up for the funeral of Peter, my cousin Jean's husband in New Zealand. It starts at 1045 our time.
