Eda’s magic tree.

We’ve spent today at home after all the hectic activities of the week.
Grace went for a curry last night so was out very late after the show. It was a great show. Not just a line up of songs from the shows but a story of how a production comes to fruition in the first half and then ‘the show’ in the second half.

Grace’s main solo was as a choreographer which she does do. It was a song from The Boy From Oz where she did a take on Liza Minnelli which is what the show is about, I think. Anyway she did it really well. Her neighbours were in as a surprise as they got last minute tickets and baby sitter. They were most impressed.
I liked the fact that the songs were from shows that are less well known. Good foot tapping tunes making me want to go and see some of them. Three were from Moulin Rouge which we’ve booked to see in December.

The weather took a while to get going today but turned into a lovely warm afternoon by which time Jude was having a nap.
Here is Eda as Ariel (she’s singing) below her magic tree. She has elves and fairies in it as well as butterflies, bells and rainbows. When the leaves drop they are going to get some fairy lights to put in it too. In the spring it is full of blossom.

Eda is going with daddy to see the show tonight. Chris is a going as front of house and doing interval teas and will stay to bring Grace home.

I’ll stay here and do Jude’s bath and bed time and then watch Strictly. A glass of wine and I’ll be quite happy.
