Marjorie's ramblings

Group photography

I had a lovely walk today (3.72ml no less) and encountered these sheep at Low Carry Farm.

My walk was from the village of Wark, along the riverbank of the North Tyne and then climbing up to the farm and taking the tiny back road towards Wark again. The views were very good. There is a lot of damage to trees near the river. I had to do a bit of scrambling round and a bit of climbing over a fallen trunk.

These sheep made me think about group photos. I often take photos of groups of walkers. Often, one hides behind another. One turns their head away at the wrong moment. Most are straining to help the photographer produce a good image. Then there is the goofy one at the side who puts on a silly grin.

Sheep are not so unlike humans after all.

We watched the final of University Challenge. The better team won. They all contributed and their captain was excellent. Not mentioning names in case you are waiting to see it later.
