Marjorie's ramblings

Another winter's walk

Alistair is recovering from a nasty, non-Covid chest infection. I'm trying to walk further. Today he collected me and we did a 3.7 mile circular from Wark, by the river and back over the hills.

It was another perfect day for walking. A delight.

Arth does much better if I'm chatting to someone else. He did not make a peep until after the walk was over, and he's doing well now.

We met my neighbours, Nicola and John, half way through the walk. It was good to have a chat.

This afternoon, Hannah and Jane, from Haydon Bridge chapel, came to see Mum. Not only did they like my carrot cake - they have two pieces each. That made me happy!
