Capital adventures

Outside looking in

Back to the pool this morning, much invigorated.  Spent the morning doing some admin stuff and then headed out to the Lyceum.  It was a workshop today led by Nicola Roy.  She was there last week but of course I missed her.  Quite a few breathing exercises which will stand me in good stead for tonight, some impro and then some of the Liz Lochhead version of 'Tartuffe'.

Home for a quick turn around and check that my guest had arrived and settled in ok.  She seems very nice but it is a short stay.

And then changed and out again for the Choir concert.  Minor panic from L when she realised she's forgotten to buy the gift for S.  A short detour to Cameron Toll and it was sorted.

Despite my feeling that we were slightly under-rehearsed and definitely hadn't rehearsed the on/off moves and that there was limited space during the soloist spot and that we hadn't checked how many pieces D was playing, all seemed to go well.

It was still warm, balmy someone said, when we came out after 9.  Home for a glass of rose spritzer, the 10 and a catch up with the score.  I stopped following it after the 3rd penalty.
