Magic and sparkle

Another very hard frost as I set off up to St Ives for the early morning Thursday walk. Good because the ground is firm, no mud!

The sun was coming up through the trees on our walk as last week and although the Christmas tree wasn’t lit when I passed at 7.00am it was when I passed on the way home. Chris is in charge of the timings on the lights so he has set it to start half an hour later to save a bit of electricity but so that they are lit for the children passing on their way to school.

These lovely figures are outside a near neighbours house, of course they look great lit up at night but in today’s lovely bright sunshine I thought they looked just as good for a blip.

We did a bit of shopping in Bingley when Chris got a phone call to say he was supposed to be doing luncheon club! Panic, but at least we were in the right place to buy what was needed for a meal for the old folks! Apparently it has all gone fine.

Grace sent me a couple of shots of the hard frost seen in  Bath this morning on the school run. It certainly looks pretty.

There could be snow on the way later!
