Two ..........

 ............. hundred mile round trip (in the new car!!) to Hull Royal Infirmary for Himself to see the orthopaedic consultant again ........ whilst there he (Himself, not the consultant) had an atrial fibrillation 'episode' - at least we were in the right place, at the right time!   The consultant had to come and see him on the "trolley".   
Upshot is, nerve damage to the spine probably caused by intensive chemo and radiotherapy years ago and nothing they can do.   
He is being referred to yet another specialist (hopefully closer to home) for knee, leg and hip assessments.   
It's got to the point where he can hardly walk at all and certainly not without sticks.   :o((      
All that on top of the "other things" he has to suffer is not making his life easy.  I feel so helpless at times.

Hey ho, there are others way worse off than we are so onward and upwards!    
(I made him suffer the journey home with the roof down on the car - big coat zipped up, woolly hat and a blanket for his legs - me in just jeans and a sweatshirt - I'm a hardy Yorkshire lass.

Now - shock horror - I'm actually into February (yes, this year!!) with FlowerFriday!
