Deer

Set off early this morning for some reservoir walks. A silly mistake - should have waited a couple of hours. Buckieburn, Carron Valley and Loch Coulter were all visited in cold, wet conditions. Just as we left the last one, Loch Coulter, the sun popped out.

The deer is one of two scampering away as we approached Buckieburn. Also saw two herons with nest building material in their beaks and numerous little birds in full voice.

I'm glad of some better weather as this afternoon I'm going to the stables for a visit. I'm doing my responsible trustee bit and observing the work of the organisation. I'm also meeting a potential donor so I need to be super engaged.

Wishing you a good weekend.
