At the seaside

It's been our last day with John and Gail Gravett at Lakeland Photographic Holidays. The photographers headed for the beach, visiting sites at Allonby and Silloth.

The weather was perfect with sun and clouds. Hardly anyone else visited the beaches.

From Silloth you can look over to Criffel in Galloway. Here is my take on it (sorry Harry, I know you don't like these arty type images!). I've used a slow panning technique using the tripod.

We have looked at everyone's best 10 of the day and their best 10 of the week tonight. What a lot of brilliant images with a huge variation in themes and techniques.

PS We did manage a visit to Wellingtons Farm to sample the Jersey ice cream. I had coffee and cream in my cone. Mmm.

PPS Arth, who many of you remember, wants to say that a day walking on soft sand and stones in heavy wellingtons, did not suit him at all............
