I am married and the father of two awesome girls. We live near Detroit Michigan USA. All four of us have lived in Michigan our whole lives. For the girls that's not saying much, but for my wife and me it says a lot. We live in a beautiful state that has four distinct seasons and is surrounded by some amazing shoreline. They don't call them the Great Lakes for nothing.

I am an audio engineer by trade. I work primarily in the advertising arena but we do mixes beyond 30 and 60 seconds for a variety of projects.

I blip to have fun, to interact with the fabulous blip community, and, like many of you, to try to improve my photography skills. In the beginning I shot with a Canon Powershot SD750. I learned a great deal about it after joining blipfoto, not the least of which was to work beyond the auto setting. For Christmas 2011 I got an iPhone4 and the first app I downloaded was blipfoto. As 2012 progressed, the point and shoot began to give way to the iPhone and before long it was all iPhone. In April 2013 I got my first DSLR; a Canon Rebel T4i. The change in image quality and blip satisfaction was instantly recognizable. So on we go......

I learn a ton here through the work of all you blippers. Your comments and your photos are an inspiration to me daily.

I am emailable if you are so moved: audioengineear_at_gmail_dot_com
