MM263 Results - Tension

This house finch seems to be saying, "What gives??" after looking into a completely hollowed out orange.  He appeared to be really annoyed.

There's going to be a hard freeze tonight, down to 28°/-2°. This afternoon I covered my recently planted Fairy Duster and Firecracker in an effort to survive the winter.  I didn't put much water in the dishes.  They'll freeze solid.  That's just about the freezing point of hummingbird nectar so Ill have to make some to hang in the morning.
